JOB SUMMARY
The Lean Leader will act as an agent of change for process improvement and Lean implementation for Canrig's OEM manufacturing and Repair/Refurb Business Units. This role will provide hands-on leadership to deploy, implement and drive the Lean Manufacturing Program at the Manufacturing plant. This position will spearhead the journey to a Lean Manufacturing organization driving the implementation of Kaizen, Value Stream Management, 6S, Standard Work, Kanban/Pull Systems, Root-Cause Problem Solving, Quality at the Source, Lean Daily Management, SMED, POKE-YOKE, Just-in-time, cellular manufacturing, and similar tools to create, drive and sustain a new culture of Continuous Improvement and manufacturing efficiency.
