Senior Technical Support Specialist (Transportation)
The Senior Technical Support Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting applications and devices used by field personnel and perform secondary backup support to the Corporate office, Operations Services Center, and Regional offices while acting in accordance with company mission, vision, and values.
Primary Responsibilities:
Primarily provide senior-level end user guidance on device and application usage with the focus of the support being on the field staff and mobile equipment utilized in the field
Provide senior-level help desk support using the KACE tool regarding:
Problems with devices including laptops, tablets, cellular phones, and the applications supported on these devices
Lead solution of issues with custom developed mobile app and their integration with the identity server and database
Lead solution of issues with software on devices including operating system, systems automation, and business applications
Provide senior-level support of OSC Technology Queue staff for reported issues
Conduct the administration of user and groups in On-prem and Azure Active Directory primarily in support of the mobile devices
Conduct the administration security and distribution groups in Microsoft O365 and its integrations with the mobile devices
Cybersecurity Management solution to deploy planned campaigns and provide necessary reporting and escalation of issues
Configuration of prototype devices and installation of new software for evaluation
Develop user training and provide mass communication on device and application usage
Provide mid-level help desk support of office workstations, printers, multi-function copiers, smartboards, projectors, basic server infrastructure, basic network infrastructure, and security systems
Refresh tablets and laptops on an as needed basis for reissuance
Authorized to purchase and track of hardware, software, subscriptions, and services (as required)
Support mid-level issues with UCaaS/CCaaS solution - interface with vendor (as required)
Travel to branches and remote locations (as required)
