Senior CRM Specialist (Project Management)



The Veeva Sr. CRM Specialist will serve as the technology business partner to Field Operations, Marketing, and Medical Affairs providing hands-on, technical and functional collaboration to support and improve the functioning and capabilities of Shionogi's Veeva Commercial platform, commercial reporting and commercial data warehouse. This position reports to Senior Manager, IT Sales Systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Work on Shionogi's Commercial platform, including Veeva platform (CRM, Align, Network, OpenData, PromoMats, MedComms), reporting platform, and Data Warehouse (DW) – administering and implementing requested changes.
  • Work closely with Commercial teams to support sales campaigns, speaker programs, national sales meetings, Veeva reporting and other commercial initiatives.
  • Manage the planning, implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of Shionogi's Veeva CRM deployments, complete regular internal system audits, and preparation for upgrades.
  • Prioritize, research, and respond to all Field Operations and Medical field-related questions.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting for Field Operations.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as all other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Track application changes with version control and ensure that release management is documented and saved.
  • Leverage problem-solving skills to analyze, measure, and recommend solutions in the Veeva Commercial platform.
  • Synthesize and communicate results through oral and written presentations.
  • Work with internal and external partners to enhance and support the CRM platform and process.
  • Create and maintain reports within Veeva CRM/MyInsights and Commercial Reporting platform.
  • Open and manage Veeva Help Desk issues.
  • Conduct analysis and documentation of existing business processes; recommend process improvements.
  • Produce documents for IT such as specification, test plan, test result, change control material, operational record, user guide, etc.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related major.
  • A minimum of three 3 years Veeva CRM configuration/administration experience in a multi-product, multi-team CRM org.
  • 3+ years' experience with Veeva CRM, Veeva Network a plus.
  • Veeva CRM Certified preferred
  • Experience with operations and analytics in the Pharma/Biotech industry.

Other Requirements

  • Must live a commutable distance to our US Corporate Headquarters in Florham Park, NJ. Office presence required at least 2-3 days per week.
  • Proficiency in reporting and data analytics tools, e.g., SQL, Excel, or Tableau preferred.
  • Experience loading and reporting with 3rd party pharmaceutical data preferred.
  • Veeva Vault experience preferred.
  • Tableau report creation and administration a plus.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to articulate clearly and conduct verbal presentations with large and small audiences.
  • Ability to travel via automobile and/or airplane.
  • Ability to view video display terminal images < 18” away from face for extended period of time – up to four (4) hours at a time.
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard and telephone.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time – up to four (4) hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifteen (15) pounds.
