Sanctions Research Specialist, Senior Associate (Finance)
State Street operates a global Financial Crime Compliance program that is designed to meet its legal and regulatory requirements. The Sanctions Compliance team, which is led by the Global Head of Sanctions Compliance, is a key part of the Financial Crime Compliance program.
What you will be responsible for
The Sanctions Research Specialist, Senior Associate role is a sole contributor, reports, as a member of the Sanctions Research Team, into the Head, Sanctions Research, who reports into the Global Head of Sanctions Compliance, and is accountable for conducting research and providing timely sanctions guidance on escalated entity/name screening alerts;
Conducting and supporting research and providing timely sanctions guidance on escalated business issues, new products and services, and local sanctions risk issues;
Supporting performance of oversight and quality control reviews on FLOD & SLOD screening alert dispositioning teams and recommending improvements to processes;
Supporting response to regulatory and internal audit exam requests;
Supporting the creation of sanctions-related metrics and governance materials; and
Supporting the identification of false hit mitigation candidates and supporting and advising internal teams on deployment of new screening activities.
