Job Purpose
Installing, troubleshooting and repairing interactive whiteboards, displays and sound systems in schools & businesses. Troubleshooting and repairing desktop and laptop computers. Fixing Windows OS issues, installing Windows OS, virus removals and providing remote support to clients. Installing computers as standalone devices or on a Windows workgroup or domain network.
Duties and Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate for this position would possess the following skills:
- Basic Construction Skills
- Computer laptop and desktop repair
- Basic computer networking skills
- Termination of A\V & Ethernet Cabling
- Strong Customer Relationship Skills
- Ability to Organize and plan work
- Read Blueprints and implement work according to the plan
- Ability to document work
- Experience with Android and Windows Operating Systems
- Audio Video Knowledge is preferred
Working Conditions
- This is an in-office position
Physical Requirements
- Audio-Visual (AV) Installer and Support Technicians must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment, be comfortable working at heights, and be able to complete intricate tasks such as wiring and connecting components.
