Job Description:
The Case Admin position is an exciting opportunity within Epiq's Corporate Restructuring Department within the Bankruptcy Solutions Division. Case Admins interact with Epiq's internal teams, but are not client facing. Due to the fast-paced nature of the Bankruptcy Solutions Division, the successful candidate must be able to take on multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize their workload and seek additional resources for larger projects when needed to ensure that client deliverables are produced accurately by stated deadlines. The successful candidate must have attention to detail, accurate work product and timely delivery on projects. This position offers the opportunity to become an integral part of a division that is focused on client satisfaction as well as the professional development of its staff.
Responsibilities:
The Case Admin primary duties include but are not limited to the maintenance of; claim transfers and withdrawals, addresses and name changes, electronic docket, case closing packets, websites and creditor correspondence.
Review and interpret transfer and withdrawal documents, process daily updates, ensure accurate update of various client databases.
Effectuate service of transfer notices and filing of related affidavits of service by required deadlines.
Prepare case close packages.
Address maintenance, returned mail, name change documentation coordination of timely and accurate update in electronic databases, both universal and case specific.
Research, respond and escalate creditor inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
Assist with maintenance of client specific website, ensure accuracy and integrity of data, address any data issues and interact with USBC court's docket system.
Assist with disbursements and gathering of required tax reporting under supervision.
Assist case managers with ad hoc projects as needed by stated deadlines.
Qualifications:
High energy and enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude; works well under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Motivated self-starter with a high level of personal accountability and organizational skill.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Great attention-to-detail and strong follow-up skills.
