Sr. Director of Sales (Sales)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial results-drive Sr. Director of Sales to lead our branded and private label sales across the Grocery, Drug, Value, and Farm & Agricultural channels. This is a high-visibility, onsite leadership role responsible for strategic growth, cross-functional collaboration, and building lasting customer relationships. The right candidate is both a visionary and a hands-on executor - someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and grow Trilliant's retail sales strategy across core channels: Grocery, Drug, Value, and Farm & Agricultural.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key retailers, leveraging insights and influence to drive growth.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed business objectives.
Partner closely with Marketing on promotional planning, category strategy, and trade execution.
Lead Integrated Business Planning (IBP) initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Own full P&L responsibility, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance optimization.
Develop and implement strategies to expand market share and strengthen customer partnerships.
Represent Trilliant with professionalism, integrity, and passion--internally and externally.
Be onsite in Little Chute, WI, and travel up to 60% for customer and field engagements.
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, including people management.
Bachelor's degree in business.
Proven success in the Grocery, Drug, Value, or related retail channels.
Background in marketing or trade planning, with strong promotional planning capabilities.
Demonstrated track record of driving profitable growth.
Expertise in P&L management and retail financials.
Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or equivalent cross-functional planning processes.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Entrepreneurial, scrappy, and committed to excellence in execution.
Willingness and ability to travel ~60%.
Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
