The Department of Radiology at Keck School of Medicine of USC is recruiting a full-time, fellowship-trained radiologist to join the Advanced Body Imaging division with sub-specialty in Cardiothoracic and/or Abdominal Imaging. The candidate will be given a faculty appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level commensurate with their experience/qualifications.
The Department of Radiology is comprised of 63 active faculty members as well as 40 residents and 20 fellows. Our campus is located in the center of Los Angeles and is comprised of 3 large teaching hospitals, all of which are located on the medical school grounds: Keck/USC University Hospital, Norris Cancer Center and LAC+USC County Hospital. Each facility has a unique patient population that is ideal for teaching and research. The Ultrasound section has been on the cutting edge of this specialty both in terms of research and clinical activity. The division is internationally recognized in the area of contrast ultrasound. The Cardiothoracic section has strong relationships with the various clinical divisions at the Keck Medical Center of USC, including pulmonary and critical care, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, thoracic oncology, and radiation oncology. The department is equipped with state of the art equipment across the Health Science Campus with four 3T and five 1.5T MR scanners, 9 CT scanners, including a PET/64 slice CT and a 320 slice CT, 5 fluoroscopic systems, and over 25 ultrasound units.
Applicants must be ABR board-certified or board-eligible, with a completed fellowship in Abdominal, Ultrasound and/or Body imaging. Non-board eligible radiologists would be considered under appropriate circumstances. Salary is commensurate with experience and academic rank and is competitive with other academic institutions.
