Economic Inclusion Co-op (Finance)
This can be part of a formal university co-op program or a full- or part-time paid internship. The individual must be a self-starter with strong organization and time management skills. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Update company diverse vendor databases and vendor follow up.
o Filing, scanning and other administrative duties as needed
o Update department's administrative process manual
o Update department's project tracking tool
o Order office supplies
o Transfer vendor business cards to EI contacts in Outlook
o Update regional partnering organizations list/contacts
o Assist with event coordination and set up
o Generate & print various reports
o Visit a jobsite from beginning to end to get a full understanding of the construction process and how supplier diversity relates.
o Will work with the department to develop & execute tasks related to the supplier diversity/construction procurement process.
Minimum Requirements:
o Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline
o Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
o Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
o Willing to approach new initiatives and people with curiosity and persistence

o Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Abilities:
o Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities
o Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25 lbs., seeing and reading
o Valid driver's license required
