RN – Inpatient – Hemodialysis Unit - 100%FTE, Day/Night - University Hospital, Meriter, TAC (4098) (Healthcare)
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:
Education:
Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.
Work Experience:
Minimum - One (1) year relevant clinical experience.
Preferred - Hemodialysis experience. ICU experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
On-Call Responsibility:
On-call required. Call response time of 60 minutes from pager activation to arrival, dressed in scrubs and ready for duty at Hemodialysis suite C5/3.
Physical Requirements:
Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Work Schedule:
This is an Day/Night position, with variable (8) eight, (10) ten and (12) hour shifts. Day shift hours: 07:00-17:30, 08:00-18:30 or 10:00-20:30, Night shifts are 20:30 -07:00. On call, weekend and holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department. Work locations include University Hospital and Meriter.
