Position Summary
Emerging Brands is an exciting newly created group at Constellation Brands responsible for building new consumer-focused businesses by using an entrepreneurial approach. Reporting to the Head of Emerging Brands, Founders are responsible for early scaling success of our future power brands. Founders have a broad range of responsibilities including:
This role is responsible for supporting the sales and early commercialization activities for a number of emerging brands within the Constellation portfolio
Oversee the development and execution of sales and marketing programs and lead business analysis and project management
Lead the development of comprehensive commercial brand plans that ensure delivery of plans for responsible brands
Oversee the development of the monthly brand health trackers to forecast, track and analyze brand initiatives and performance in order to ensure we meet and/or exceed our performance metrics
Lead the management of the brand & product S&OP forecast, at-risk reviews and shipment plans with Operations and Supply planning teams
Oversee the development and execution of the brand presentations at the National Sales Meeting. This includes liaising with internal team, external agency and coordinating content development.

Provide leadership across Commercialization brand portfolio to ensure alignment of brand strategies and initiatives with cross-functional partners, sales, production, operations and legal
Strong stakeholder management in a highly matrixed environment
Deliver top tier, consumer validated advertising platforms and manage their execution
Lead the ongoing analysis of category, competitive and consumer trends
Lead the management of business relationships with agencies, vendors and CBI brand partners
Provide Chief Growth Officer and Senior Management with continual updates/recommendations on Commercialization brands and new initiatives
Sales Leadership:
Lead effective communication to sales, NPD specialists and Trade marketing teams to optimize and execute brand plans, regional programs, competitors' insights and best in class execution across all Commercialization brands
Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships
Directly support Constellation and Distributor sales teams and participate hands-on in ground-level sales efforts
Oversee the execution of a series of road shows and blitzes
Fiscal Discipline:
General Manager mindset
Deliver brand annual financial plans (net sales, depletions, and EBIT)
Manage brands portfolio budget
Recommend budget adjustments across portfolio or programming based on brand/market performance or opportunities
Own the P&L and market success for assigned brands
Minimum Qualifications
Direct ownership or involvement in product scaling (involved in product acquisition, exit, or evidence of IRI trajectory)
Proven experience and strong abilities in educating and motivating others to manage business effectively
New product development and execution experience required
Strong P&L management skills; high financial acumen
Excellent project management skills required
Ability to think strategically as well as tactically
Experience in package development and creative point of sale/merchandising materials development, which support brand positioning
Experience working successfully within a team environment
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Ability to focus on multiple tasks and deadlines, and effectively prioritize and manage them; strong attention to detail
Proven ability to analyze data, identifies opportunities, and develops business plans that significantly build the business
Strong teamwork skills; ability to take ownership of projects and work with interdepartmental functions (production, winemaking, creative services, sales, hospitality, etc.) to achieve project completion in a smooth and timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications
Beverage alcohol industry experience in either a marketing or sales management capacity preferred, but not required
A passion for and desire to be immersed in the beverage alcohol business
Skilled in agile methodologies
Strong PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), scan data experience preferred (IRI)
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
