POSITION SUMMARY:

The Resource Navigator (part of our Goodwill Reflections team) will support and deliver programs and services promoting employee wellbeing, helping to drive performance, engagement, and retention across our organization that meet the organizational mission and strategic goals. Services may include individual and financial counseling, family or life event adjustment issues, skills development, mental health services, and supporting employees through alcohol and substance abuse, domestic violence, and other sensitive issues. This position is expected to be visible and provide direct assistance at all assigned Goodwill of Southwestern PA locations. The Reflections Resource Navigator cultivates trust and builds relationships across all Goodwill SWPA divisions by leading with cultural competence and providing services to achieve maximum impact on employee outcomes. This position is responsible for facilitating individual service plan development. The Reflections Resource Navigator assists employees with accessing support services and maintains up-to-date knowledge of community
resources within their assigned service territory.

Duties will also include but are not limited to:

  • Interview employees and discuss sensitive issues that may adversely affect morale, health, and productivity.
  • Conduct ongoing meetings with employees at their location or virtually to ensure quality service delivery; conduct progress reviews of goals in accordance with program guidelines; and provide corresponding documentation in a timely manner.
  • Participate in determination of organizational policies regarding issues such as employee outreach  and internal communications under direction of Reflections Program Manager.
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports, such as participation data or other information needed to gauge effectiveness of program and intervention services 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and develop relationships with local community services to meet the needs of Goodwill employees seeking assistance, including but not limited to physical, social, cultural, and other livelihood (such as transportation, food, shelter) needs.
  • Identify, prioritize, and support continuous improvement efforts related to program service delivery and administration under the direction of Reflections Program Manager.

External Hiring Range: $20.00- $20.87/hour

Schedule: 8:00AM - 4:00PM Monday - Friday 

Travel: local travel will be required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent AND 6 years of experience working with individuals in crisis or vulnerable populations 
  • Associates degree AND 4 years of Experience working with individuals in crisis or vulnerable populations.
  • Bachelors degree AND 2 years Experience working with individuals in crisis or vulnerable populations 

Required Experience:

Experience with case management, locating community and social services for at-risk or vulnerable populations required.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH).
