Forklift Operator (Sales)

The Forklift Operator position will:
Operate a forklift to perform a wide variety of duties associated with moving parts, steel, and finished product to and from storage, production lines, and shipping. Individuals may load and unload trucks Additionally, the position requires the candidate to pass forklift training. Also required to perform other tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructions
Perform a wide variety of duties associated with moving, loading and unloading steel, parts, and product.
Operate forklift
Manage inventory in tracking systems and physical locations.
Maintain Rack Storage List to identify location of parts in various stages of production
Utilize Rack List to obtain and deliver parts in various stages of production to necessary locations
Maintain necessary records including daily forklift inspection
Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision
Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisor
Perform other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position
Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
Desire to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic
Follow all company rules and policies
