Oversees larger and more complex District and/or System projects. Works with senior stakeholders to assemble project teams, plan and facilitate meetings for senior stakeholders, develop or review project schedules and scopes of work, and is responsible for coordinating resources needed. Must be familiar with the entire scope, status, and requirements of project(s) and acts as liaison between team members and District and System leadership. Level of work is considered advanced and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. Coordinates the work of others across multiple projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Plans and coordinates Bank and/or System project activities and resources to ensure project goals are completed on time, within budget and with optimum quality
Provides direction, prioritization and conflict resolution in managing project teams to accomplish project objectives
Prepares and implements detailed project plans including definition of scope, requirements, objectives, resource allocation and task schedules and milestones
Communicates project goals, meeting minutes and action items, and results to senior stakeholders
Ensures ongoing use of and adherence to Federal Reserve policies and practices including established project management methodologies
May provide input on training, development, communication, goal development and guidance to staff
Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree desirable
7-10+ years direct work related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated project and risk management skills including ability to manage multiple priorities, resources, customers and management with a focus on consistency and accuracy
Self-motivated with excellent teamwork skills
PMI Certification a plus
Possesses and applies broad and specific knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in the field of specialization to the completion of assignments
Independent thinking, objective analysis and decision making abilities
