Position Summary
Do you have a vision and strong perspective for the future of fiber networking products? The Director, Fiber Product Management & Development will lead the development and management of fiber products within the fiber enterprise/wholesale and shared infrastructure markets at Crown Castle. This is a great opportunity to turn your vision into reality. In this role, the Director, Fiber Product Development and Management will be responsible for the full product lifecycle including: define and communicate the product vision, gather market/customer requirements, understand the technical possibilities, analyze tradeoffs on cost/pricing, set clear product requirements, and support the building, integration and scaling of these products nationally. Although successfully building new products will be critical to the role, you will also be responsible for management of our mature suite of transport and access products.
The ability and willingness to work cross functionally and collaboratively across the organization is essential. Your role will be to manage and evolve our existing fiber products that are sold by our sales team, deployed by our project delivery teams, and run by operations. In addition, you will develop product roadmaps for existing and entirely new products, prioritize that against resources to improve upon existing products, and drive new development.
