Paid Social Media Specialist (Personal Services)

Since 1987, the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) has set the standard in certification, continuing education, solutions and tools for health and fitness, sports performance and sports medicine professionals. NASM has pioneered evidence-based health and fitness solutions that optimize physical performance and allow individuals to achieve a variety of fitness activity goals.
As a member of the Customer Acquisition & Retention team, this role is responsible for assisting the Paid Social Media Manager. In this role you will be working with social media data across 7+ separate brands over 4 different platforms. You will have the opportunity to grow your paid social media tactics and strategy knowledge, assist in the development and launching of new campaigns as well as understanding and analyzing campaign performance. This role is very hands on and requires immense attention to detail!
Education & Experience:
• 1 - 2 years of experience, preferably within a social media advertising environment.
• Basic knowledge of social media advertising on main social platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn - Reddit is a plus).
Responsibilities:
• Assist in identifying target audiences, preferences and trends for campaigns across all platforms.
• Pull & organize raw data from social media platforms into Excel pivot tables based on campaign goals to be shared with the Social Media Manager and Customer Acquisition & Retention team.
• Monitor and evaluate paid social media results daily in coordination with team goals and benchmarks.
• Keep shared team documents updated to keep all team members knowledgeable about current paid campaigns.
• Monitor budget pacing and bids across all live social media advertising campaigns.
• Assist in the launch of new social media advertising accounts and platforms.
• Keep pace with social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments, keeping the broader team informed of how they could be used to reach our team goals.
• Be available for occasional work outside of normal working business hours.
• Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to work on cross functional projects.
• Strong ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel experience.
