Regional Director of Maintenance (Construction)



• Directly involvement in the facilitation and management of service-related tasks
• Maintenance, repair, operation and general upkeep at Champion's contracted properties, ensuring all work is done safely in quality manner
• Perform light maintenance duties (changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, unclogging toilets, ect.)
• Perform basic plumbing electrical and carpentry repairs
• Perform minor service, troubleshooting and repair on building systems
• Performing and scheduling licensed technicians for preventative maintenance tasks on building systems and components (i.e. physical structure, plumbing, hardware, electrical and mechanical)
• Coordinate and Collaborate as required or needed with licensed insured vendors for larger repais
• Monitoring self and team performance
• Optimization of service schedule ensuring tasks are completed on time with
• Manage and Service Maintenance, repair, operation, and general upkeep at assigned properties ensuring all work is done safely.
• Recruitment, onboarding and training of new champion technicians
• Recruitment, onboarding and training of new Champion ISPs (integrated service partners) who are subcontracted vendors that subscribe to the champion processes, systems and technics to support building a larger network of ISPs
•
Other Functions
• Facilitation of emergency maintenance requests in accordance with policy and procedure
• Ability to learn and become proficient with existing and new technologies
• Assist other company departments as needed
• Collaboration with Champion interdisciplinary team
• Troubleshoot and replace defective supply dispensers
• Troubleshoot issues with cleaning equipment as necessary
• Support supply ordering and inventory
• Attends all required training, in-services, and staff meetings.
• Participates in company initiatives (Ex. New software implementations)
• Strives to maintain a safe working environment for the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, the achievement of safe working practices, and by practicing proper infection control measures while in health centers.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor towards co-workers and professional partners.
• Respond to tenant service requests at a high standard.
• Professionally represents organization as a brand ambassador.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of organizations.
• Define, develop, and execute a personal and team growth and professional development plan.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Attending approved Industry Events such as trainings, conventions or field shows. Approvals based on potential ROI.




Skill Requirements-
• 2+ years janitorial or maintenance leadership experience preferred
• 5+ years performing a technical trade
• High school diploma/GED highly desired
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft business applications
• Ability to learn and become proficient with existing and new technologies
• Ability to successfully complete industry technical and safety training courses
• Willingness to work early morning or late-night shifts
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
• Capacity to take direction
• Strong attention to detail

• Travel Requirements related to essential functions (frequency, distance, purpose).
o Driving to different site locations and to acquire parts and supplies as needed.
• Machines, tools, equipment, and electronic devices required in this job, explaining the purpose of each and the percentage of time used.
o Hand tools, including handheld power tools, used in the repair and maintenance of building components and systems. Use of hand-held device for use of the work order system. Associates can expect to use these tools 60 % of the time
• Adverse working conditions that an associate in this job would be regularly (80% or more of work time) exposed to in the normal course of the job (extreme noise, weather, hazards, fumes, etc.)
o Works inside and outside buildings. Works in various weather conditions, with electricity, rotating equipment, heights, various maintenance chemicals, i.e. paints, adhesives, solvents and water treatment chemicals.
• Physical effort required in performing daily duties, e.g. heavy lifting, bending, climbing, etc.
o Ability and willingness to climb ladders and scaffolds. Ability to repeatedly lift and carry heavy loads, (up to 50 lbs.) Ability to squat and/or bend. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
