Director, PR and Executive Communications (Media)
Job Summary:
The Director of Public Relations is responsible for amplifying brand awareness through the development & execution of a fully integrated PR and communication strategy that gains positive consumer and industry media coverage for brand leadership, brand campaigns and ERA affiliated brokers and agents.
In this role you will be a spokesperson for ERA Real Estate and the key contact for media interviews with national, regional and local media outlets. In addition, the Director of PR will provide added-value to ERA Affiliates by creating strategy and delivering information via our blogs and social platforms (e.g., ExploreERA.com & OwningtheFence.com) to help empower ERA sales professionals to fully leverage the power of publicity to promote their personal brand and expertise through earned media in their local markets.

-You have experience working in a complex corporate environment of a publicly traded company, with the ability to direct multiple tasks under deadline pressure while managing multiple stakeholder expectations.
-You have worked directly with the C-Suite to deliver high-profile executive communications including scripts, speeches and presentations in the unique voice of the executive enhanced by the voice of the brand.
Responsibilities:
-Write and manage content and distribution of all news releases or other external messaging and program collateral as needed. Defining qualitative and quantitative goals and objectives for each.
-Develop strategy and oversee industry trade sponsorships including planning, contracting, brand communication, marketing, executive speaking opportunities and B2B ad placement as needed.
-Direct and coordinate efforts with colleagues in other parts of the organization to drive media coverage for ERA franchise members, brand leadership and brand initiatives.
-Work directly with leadership to ensure flawless execution of all executive corporate communications including, letters, presentation and video scripts, media alerts and news releases.
-Ability to leverage industry news and trends as content for compelling messages
-Build strong, positive relationships with the operations and servicing teams to earn brand coverage at the local level in support of franchise openings, professional recognition, industry events, etc.
-Manage PR agency budgets and allocate other resources in support of brand objectives.
-Direct strategy for ERA Corporate Social Responsibility PR.
-Present PR and communications best practices to the ERA network
-Manage internal communication manager and help direct internal communication strategy.
Your background includes:
-Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related field
-Minimum 5 years' experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications with emphasis on speech writing
-Experience working in the real estate industry or franchise environment strongly preferred
-Demonstrated success in measuring effectiveness of PR campaigns.
-You have managed an agency partner
-Working knowledge of WordPress or similar blogging platforms
-Experience managing budgets
-Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
