At Kroll, your work will help deliver clarity to our clients' most complex governance, risk, and transparency challenges. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-impact insights and recommendations that enhance compliance programs and reduce risk.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading AML data analytics engagements, including TM rule output analysis, alert volumes, alert-to-case and alert-to-SAR ratios, and client-level alert trends.
  • Conducting Above-the-Line / Below-the-Line testing to assess rule effectiveness and identify gaps.
  • Providing recommendations for tuning and optimization of TM and sanctions screening systems based on data-driven insights.
  • Drafting formal reports summarizing findings, methodology, and enhancement recommendations.
  • Supporting reconciliation of TM rule coverage with risk assessments and coverage maps.
  • Designing and implementing data mapping and reconciliation processes between source systems and client/screening platforms.
  • Overseeing the archiving of workpapers and documentation in accordance with regulatory expectations.
  • Supporting sanctions screening reviews, risk assessments, and exception tuning exercises.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that combine analytics, technology, and regulatory expertise.
  • Mentoring and supervising a team of technology and analytics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Enhancing our practice's market presence with thought leadership, conference/seminar representation and targeted client interaction.
  • Partnering with Managing Directors in Kroll's IDC service line to drive and support business development efforts, including closing new opportunities.

Essential Traits:

  • Proven ability to lead complex AML analytics and TM optimization projects.
  • Strong understanding of AML compliance frameworks, TM systems, and regulatory expectations.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Familiarity with sanctions screening systems and exception management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting formal reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and mentor junior team members.
  • Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Finance, Criminal Justice); advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CAMS) a plus.
