Technical Program Manager (Project Management)

Job Description:
HPE Greenlake Cloud Services team is looking for a seasoned technical program management leader to help in the mission of accelerating GreenLake for private and public cloud offerings while focusing on the end-to-end customer experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, consultative and technical, and reports to Chief-Of-Staff of GreenLake Cloud Services engineering organization. We are looking for an experienced leader to help us define, build, execute and launch complex cloud services. This role requires to operate across a large set of technical and non-technical teams. The right leader has the right technology background to effectively work with product management, CTO leaders and engineering architects. On the program front they would work closely with larger program and portfolio management teams in defining/refining processes, and efficiently lead a project across multiple organizations. At the heart of it this role required a very strong and core program management skills.
7+ years of experience managing technology projects related to cloud services and taking them from concept to production for Enterprise Customers.
Experience in leading projects on various public and private cloud offerings, such as, AWS, Azure, GCP would be highly desired.
Have a good understanding of private cloud and data center infrastructure.
Good experience on Unix/Linux platforms and cloud orchestration technologies like Kubernetes would be highly desired.
Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
Exercise technical and product judgment to scope projects, identify dependencies, manage multi-quarter requirements and timelines, and define and implement processes to accelerate and scale feature development - all without sacrificing quality.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills.
Detail orientation and experience balancing multiple tasks and deadlines
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
Experience working with technical teams to build technology-based tools/solutions that will reduce costs and improve the overall program
Champion the adoption of agile best practices within Engineering and Product Management
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
