AWT Assembler III (Finance)
Must understand and follow KGP Safety practices.
Must practice quality awareness and have the ability to implement quality control processes and procedures.
Must learn and demonstrate the proper use of tools associated with assemble-wire-test.
Performs unpacking, checking for damaged product, inventory of all job-related materials.
Reads and stays current on KGP AWT assemble practices and documentation to include interpretation of Engineering drawings, specifications and prints.
Maintains appropriate job-related records and administrative tracking requirements.
Can plan and manage assembly logistics; can execute physical assembly activities on one or more jobs simultaneously.
Performs, as required, preliminary hardware testing in an out-of-service mode.
May be required to perform as a designated lead in the supervision of AWT Levels 1 and 2 personnel.
As required, must be able to use a computer and the appropriate software applications.
Under supervision, performs assigned physical and mechanical assembly activities, including cabling, power connections and grounding.
Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School graduate or GED equivalent or a minimum of three to five years documented assembly work experience. Requires demonstrated ability to complete and understand complex electromechanical processes and training performed and recorded on Safety, KGP Business Code of Conduct, Quality Assurance and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). Must have ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics and documentation. Must have ability to use a personal computer and keep and maintain records, documentation. Should have employee supervisory skills and must have a minimum of two years of AWT Assembler 3 time in grade or documented proficiency before eligible for promotion to AWT Assembler 4
