Talent Aquisition Specialist (Finance)
Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
Posts jobs to internal and external websites as necessary. Maintains job postings.
Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, making recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
Provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from application stage to offer, evaluating skill level, driving the interview and offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations and closing of candidates.
Evaluate and implement recruiting tools, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), sourcing tools, referral programs, and agency vendor management
Partner with department leaders to create an attractive environment for candidates
Continuously identify opportunities to improve the recruiting process and employee experience
Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
Coordinates and maintains all new hire paperwork and performs data entry of all new hires into payroll system
Submits background checks, MVR, and drug screen requests for all potential new hires
Ensures applicants have completed all pre-employment testing prior to clearing for hire
Prepares new employee files and files documents as required
Assists Human Resource management team with various special projects or duties as requested

What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree; or 2 years of previous HR experience working in Talent Acquisition or related discipline
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Experience in Kronos a plus
Experience hiring in the construction or any contracting field preferred

Quality control--demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
Adaptability--adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
Dependability--consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
