The Support Specialist delivers courteous, caring, and quality service to members and participants as well as assists in various program areas and assists with light cleaning duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention. 2. Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and to the YMCA. 3. Handles and resolves membership concerns and informs supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues. 4. Applies all YMCA policies relating to member services. 5. Hands out locker keys and towels when necessary; monitors the locker rooms when required. 6. Answers the telephone, provides requested information, direct calls and takes accurate messages. 7. Ensures Y is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintains upkeep of assigned area and equipment
8. Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas.
9. Replaces soap, paper towels, and other supplies
