Performs various inspections required for manufactured, Repair Station and Operator articles (i.e., receiving, in-process, first article and final).
Responsible for reviewing and approving First Article Inspection Reports.
Handles and communicates deviations/non-conformances of articles.
Maintains all required records as required by company procedures or FAA regulations.
Performance of FAA safety sensitive inspection functions may be required.
Conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required, further education or advance instruction relative to technical field is desirable.
Familiarity working with AS9100/AS9110 Quality Management Systems desirable.
Ability to locate, read, and follow technical data appropriate for the assigned task.
Ability to use precision measuring equipment and hand tools appropriate to the assigned tasks.
Reliable and flexible in regards to work priority, scope or schedule.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn and effectively utilize other software applications.
Must have a track-record of being proactive and have a demonstrated history of successfully working under minimal supervision.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts, and proposals to a wide range of audiences at all levels.
Ability to handle multiple task simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Maintain a good working relationship with all team members, stakeholders and customers.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
