WAGE PROGRAM COUNSELOR (Project Management)

The Oklahoma Registry, Wage Supplement Counselor, is responsible for implementing the Oklahoma Registry Wage Supplement Program at the Center for Early Childhood Professional Development for Oklahoma childcare providers working in licensed childcare facilities. The Counselor will review applications to determine program eligibility, process approvals, and denials, and provide counseling to participants on how to reach the next level of the salary supplement scale. Occasional travel will be required. The Oklahoma Registry Wage Supplement Program Counselor reports to the Project Lead.

Required Education:  Bachelor's degree, AND: 

• 36 months of related experience.

Equivalent/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree to equal 84 months of related experience.

Skills:

• Knowledge of project management
• Knowledge of accounting process
• Highly organized
• Able to handle multiple projects and deadlines

Certifications:

• None

Advertised Physical Requirements:

• Sits for prolonged periods. Communicate effectively. Manual dexterity.
• Standard office environment.
