This Group specializes in building long-term relationships with repeat clients in municipal, mass transit, education, and recreation by adapting to an owners preferred method of construction (Design-Bid-Build, Job Order Contracting, Multiple Award Task Order Contracts, Design-Build, and Construction Manager @ Risk) As theProject Manager, you are primarily responsible for project financials, schedule, risk management, quality, and client relationships and needs. Assigned Responsibilities*: This position is a managerial position responsible for contracts and/or work orders that reports to the General Manager. Represent and demonstrate the values of F.H. Responsible for P&L for projects assigned Responsible for client relationships and ability to develop new business through new and existing clients Create a project team atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork amongst its members Responsible for the management of the entire project, including scheduling, purchasing, quality and safety. Ability to participate in preconstruction services, including estimating and value engineering Supervisory responsibility for Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Construction Interns assigned to contracts Collaborate and monitor Superintendents performance on contracts Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners Point of contact for project management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, engineers and more Understand details of project scope of work Create and maintain project cost reports Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners Develop field quality assurance and quality control plan with Superintendent Collaboration of project safety plan with Superintendent(s)Responsible for managing MBE/WBE subcontracting requirementsResponsible for EEO/Affirmative action contract requirementsOther duties as assigned *Assigned responsibilities may include any or all the above
