Quality Control Associate (R&D)
Essential Job Functions:
Maintain in-depth compliance knowledge of cultivation, processing, and dispensary regulations as they relate to job duties and functions Review upcoming orders and package products according to specifications Inspect shipment contents and compare with manifests to confirm correct order fulfillment Print package labels and making sure they are properly affixed to packaging; make certain that packages ready for shipment have all required labeling Maintain proper supply levels of product packaging and shipping materials Maintain an in-depth knowledge and proficient use of inventory control and data collection systems, specifically Metrc and Leaf Logix; maintain accurate records Execute packaging and labeling tasks, including documentation and inventory control procedures, in accordance with state regulations Day-to-day product quality maintenance to include monitoring environmental controls, monitoring drying and curing process, burping, drying down, and breaking down bins in the vault to maintain quality cannabis and efficacy Follow all General Agricultural Practices, General Handling Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices Follow established sanitation practices for staff, equipment, and facilities to ensure quality measures are met to maintain high quality of product Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a high school diploma, or the equivalent Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the Department of Commerce Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Preferred:
Experience in the regulated cannabis or hemp industry Experience in a production environment, preferably in a regulated industry producing for human consumption such as alcohol, pharmaceuticals Experience in quality control Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or greenhouse practices
