Collections Specialist (Project Management)



DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring a Collections Specialist to actively support our collections efforts. The individual should have strong attributes as it relates to attention to detail, a high level of customer service experience, good time management skills, a sense of urgency, excellent communication and problem solving skills. If you have collections, credit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or billing experience and love interaction with customers please apply!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage collection accounts assigned by making timely collection of all accounts while maintaining good customer relations and a positive attitude.
  • Contact commercial customers regarding past due or upcoming accounts due, by making telephone calls or sending written communication assuring a commitment for payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Stay engaged to establish professional rapport during the collections process to ensure ease of future dialog with the same customers.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Must possess well-developed communication, problem solving, and organizational skills that can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a passion for collections with a customer service mentality.
  • This is a fast-paced position handling a lot of responsibility, so you must have excellent time management skills.
