Position Overview

 

We are searching for a Corporate Recruiter who will provide quality customer service in a client-driven team environment through the effective recruitment of new hires.  This role will creatively source, identify and screen candidates to present to CRH Americas Materials Management for open exempt and nonexempt job requisitions.  You will be fully supported by a well-established, successful recruiting team with proven track record.  This position will be based out of the CRH Americas Materials headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

 

  • Work proactively with assigned hiring managers to understand their immediate and upcoming needs
  • Display a high sense of urgency to get positions filled
  • Identify, screen and engage potential candidates that will fit and flourish in the culture
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employee referrals to find potential talent
  • Create and communicate a recruiting and sourcing plan for each open position
  • Provide consistent follow-up with managers on recruiting progress
  • Build a pipeline of qualified passive candidates for reoccurring needs
  • Use SuccessFactors ATS to organize candidate resumes
  • Extensive use of LinkedIN and other tools to engage both active and passive candidates
  • Special HR/Recruitment team projects and other duties assigned
  • Maintain professional demeanor at all times while representing the company 
  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required 
  • Other duties as directed

 

Qualifications

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

Education/Experience

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field
  • 3 years minimum of work experience conducting nationwide searches and recruiting professionals in multiple disciplines
  • Experience creating job descriptions, delivering and negotiating job offers and acting as a liaison between new hires and hiring managers
  • Experience with job boards and software-based Applicant Tracking System

 

Work Requirements

 

  • Must have expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must be 18 years in age or older
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required

  • Ability to communicate with hiring managers and candidates at all levels (written/verbal)
  • Ability to fill orders with a sense of urgency and manage multiple concurrent searches
  • Demonstrate a hands-on, collaborative approach and work well in a team
  • Be action oriented and driven for results
  • Demonstrate strong, oral/written communication and listening skills
  • Have strong planning and organizing skills
  • Ability to deliver on time and under tight deadlines
  • Be able to deal with ambiguity and facilitate change
  • Customer service orientated attitude
  • Strong ability to achieve excellence in client service and build long-term relationships
