If you are a Supply Chain & Logistics professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our St. Louis, MO location, you will assist managing the day-to-day activities of the planning personnel in Manila, Philippines. You will develop and communicate the production and inventory plan with plants, customers and supply chain stakeholders. You will track progress and make adjustments to meet inventory goals and customer needs.
AS THE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER, YOU WILL:
Learn and understand current demand, production, commodity and inventory planning processes
Understand the upstream and downstream process requirements associated with the planning processes
Gain a deep understanding of existing tools (Oracle, Excel, Kanbans, etc.)
Develop and update existing tools to ensure the most robust process possible is being employed
Improve the process of multi-plant planning to ensure plans are achievable, best cost, and meet availability goals
Provide timely information to stakeholders in the monthly, quarterly and annual planning processes: Finance, Procurement, Operations, etc.
Assist with sizing finished goods and raw component Kanbans to meet the supply chain targets for delivery and cost
Work with the customers and HM plants to improve the speed and reliability of the supply chain
WHO YOU ARE:

We offer the flexibility of a core hours work schedule. Employees can flex their start and stop times given they are working during the core hours of 9:00am-3:00pm. Our teams work together to ensure their chosen work schedules are supporting our customers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or other relevant area
Computer skills - working knowledge of Excel, Access
Three (3+) years of Material Management or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment
Working Knowledge of ERP systems is required
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Five (5) or more years of Material Management or equivalnt experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Oracle ERP System
Excel Database and Macros functions
