What You Need to Know

Genesis Products is hiring a 2nd shift Raw Board Warehouse Loader for our wood panel processing manufacturing plant. This position requires proficiency in forklift operation and physical labor. The Raw Board Warehouse Loader plays a key role in supporting multiple production lines and maintaining inventory integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport raw board and supplies.
  • Reading schedules for material requirements and accurately identifying, scanning, and unpackaging inventory.
  • Loading multiple production lines and properly counting, labeling, and returning material to the warehouse.
  • Using computer and scan gun systems to maintain accurate inventory controls.
  • Handling multiple tasks in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.
  • Delivering materials to production areas to support workflow and minimize downtime.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and upholding all safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Complying with all safety protocols for equipment operation and material handling.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience and proficiency in forklift operations in a fast-paced environment; certification preferred.
  • Ability to physically lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive labor tasks.
  • Experience with handling raw boards, finished materials, and large/heavy items in manufacturing.
  • Capability to read production schedules, identify and label material accurately, and follow workflow instructions.
  • Comfort using inventory management systems, computers, and scan guns for tracking inventory and reporting data.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workplace at all times.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective team collaboration and communication across departments.
