Partnering with the Director of Inclusion & Diversity and the recruitment team, you will be responsible for driving diversity strategy, sourcing and outreach for teacher and corporate opportunities at Stride.

What You Will Do

The Diversity Sourcer will be responsible for driving the diversity strategy, sourcing and outreach for teacher and corporate opportunities at Stride, Inc. In this critical role, you will:

  • Support diversity recruitment plans and be accountable for the execution of these plans, which includes sourcing and marketing to diverse communities across multiple geographies.
  • Proactively build talent pipelines with a focus on under-represented candidates by developing and executing creative sourcing strategies to generate candidate flow, which includes but are not limited to university partnerships, community outreach, social media, and new and emerging tools, referral generation, targeted events and sourcing campaigns
  • Lead research efforts and team updates on diverse talent pipeline development
  • Using data driven decision-making, establish benchmarks and metrics to measure and implement hiring targets to help advance diversity hires
  • Track and report diversity pipeline activity
  • Serve as a competent sourcing professional and ensure job seekers have a positive candidate experience
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Perform additional and related duties as assigned
  • This is a 3-month contract (W-2) opportunity with the potential for conversion to full-time

Minimum Required Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study or equivalent experience AND
  • 3+ years sourcing or recruiting experience, preferably with agency/search and/or RPO experience
  • Understanding of the opportunities and challenges building a diverse talent pool preferably in the education space
  • Experience and ability to build and maintain a long-term pipeline
  • Development of various strategies resulting in the engagement and activation of passive candidates

Other Required Qualifications:   

  • Microsoft Office 365; Web proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement
  • Proven ability to work effectively with team and external partners
  • Must be able to work evenings/weekends as needed
  • Ability to clear required background check

Desired Qualifications:  

  • Talent acquisition full life cycle experience
  • Applicant tracking system (ATS) experience, (i.e. UltiPro, Workday, Taleo, etc.…)
  • AIR's Diversity Certification preferred

  • This is a home based position.  This position is open to residents of, and may be performed remotely from Washington, D.C., and from any state except Colorado.
