CF Operator (Final Inspector) 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

SUMMARY: Safely and efficiently inspect castings per customer standards prior to sending completed castings to customer.

WAGE TYPE: Hourly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately identify casting defects to determine if parts are acceptable per standard to be shippedPerform work in accordance with specific job work instructionsAccurately use all tools, gauges, and instrumentsAbility to do all job functions as outlined in the Functional Job AnalysisFollow written and verbal instructions with accuracyCorrectly fix any defects to ensure compliance with the standardGeneral tasks or duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience Expected:

High School Diploma or GED requiredMust Pass ATEK Final Inspector Training to become a Certified Final InspectorMust pass ATEK Functional Job Analysis and pre-employment physical and Drug Screen for the Final Inspector position
Preferred:

Prior experience in manufacturingNational Career Readiness Certificate Preferred.

Communication Skills:

Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language

Working Conditions:

Frequent exposure to foundry like environment (high heat, dust, etc.)
