Pediatric Gastroenterologist (Finance)



The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a specialist in Pediatric Gastroenterology at our Capitol Hill Medical Center.

Unlike other U.S. health systems, MAPMG is built and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services. Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.

What You Can Expect:

  • Provide outpatient and telemedicine pediatric specialty care for Kaiser Permanente Health system patients in the Mid-Atlantic region
  • Access to an on-site endoscopy suite with dedicated anesthesiologists, nursing staff support, radiology services, pharmacy, and advanced urgent care to support our pediatric patients
  • Work in a collaborative environment with board-certified pediatric gastroenterologists, nurses, and clinical assistants
  • Work with a nursing staff in the Pediatric Infusion Center who are specifically trained as chemotherapy/biotherapy providers as well as APHON certified pediatric hematology/oncology nurses
  • Work with a nutritionist, nurse coordinator/case manager, pharmacist, on-site phlebotomist and a child life specialist who are an integral part of our care model

Minimum Requirements:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $280,000 which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
