Production Operator
Entry level positions available that include operating production equipment and assembling new products. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and function effectively in manufacturing environment. Duties include:
Required to stand and perform bench assembly and machine operations to mass-produce products and components
Reads and follows bill of material and routing
Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
Restocks parts and adds coolant as needed.
Tends machines, such as milling, grinding, and drilling to perform required operations to product.
Packs finished product in proper container
Reads and follows work instructions and safety analyses sheet.
Scans onto jobs via inventory collection device
Records information on process and sustainment sheets
Works at different work stations as production needs require
Support and sustain ISO procedures, Lean Manufacturing and 5-S efforts.
Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line
Performs organizing and daily cleaning duties to ensure safe work area
Other duties may be assigned in support of production needs
Key attributes of successful candidate include: Safety, Quality, Teamwork, Communication, Reliability and Time Management.
All candidates must be ableto work any shift and have a high school diploma or GED.
