Professor of Medicine, Division Chief of Infectious Diseases (Tenure Track) (Finance)

The Department of Medicine of the University of Southern California is seeking a distinguished physician-scientist to serve as Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases with an academic appointment as Associate or Professor of Medicine. Applicants should have an established record of extra-mural research funding, administrative and educational leadership experience along with clinical expertise in infectious diseases practice.
Applicants will be expected to establish a research program with substantial peer reviewed funding, and facilitate interdisciplinary research across the Department, School, and University. Applicants should have a national and international reputation of excellence, with recognition for hers/his expertise in the field. Considered applicants will have a record of exemplary professionalism, mentorship, demonstrated understanding of the academic medicine mission, and ability to work closely with the Chair in this leadership role.
