If you are a Manufacturing & Operations professional looking to grow your career, our Emerson location in Sidney, OH has a new opportunity for you! You will successfully supervise 20-30 employees in manufacturing processes within Assembly Department - meeting or exceeding goals for production, safety, quality and delivery. You will emphasize employee relations, housekeeping, and scrap reduction. You will work with existing policies for consistent application, partnering with management and human resources. You will be supervising 1st shift, which normally works 5:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.
AS A SUPERVISOR - ASSEMBLY, YOU WILL:
Supervise utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
Gain and use technical knowledge of manufacturing processes as applies to such supervision.
Use good computer skills to facilitate processes, software.
Pursue related objectives with organizational skills to meet goals.
Work with personnel at all levels of organization.
Troubleshoot equipment and partner with Maintenance staff to ensure machine and process uptime.
Support overall Quality Systems and perform necessary tasks to protect customer quality and Achieve ISO Certification.
Inspect on a daily basis; tool condition, quality systems, wear items, equipment set ups and daily TPM's.
WHO YOU ARE:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Two (2) year Associate's degree plus one (1) year of related experience or equal combination of educatino and experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Four (4) year bachelor's degree
One to three (1-3) years of manufacturing supervisor experience with similar responsibilities

About our Location
The newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120k square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquarters for the air conditioning and cold chain businesses. Through our 30 years of scroll compressor expertise, our air conditioning related products help bring comfort and convenience in commercial, industrial and residential spaces. The cold chain business helps ensure that food safely and efficiently travels from farm to fork. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney, who all support a multitude of business functions.
