Community Health Programs Manager (Finance)
Under the direction of the Senior Association Director of Community and Specialty Health the Program Manager will be responsible for providing and oversight, support and direct instruction for all programs and initiatives. Position has Administrative as well as teaching and member engagement responsibilities. The Community and Specialty Health team is dedicated to providing high quality, transformative programs and experiences to help those living with chronic lifestyle related diseases, cancer survivors, older adults and families live healthier lives.
Key Functions/Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of Community and Specialty Health programs including promotion/recruitment, enrollment, scheduling/delivery, supervising/supporting instructors, coordinating with branch staff, data recording and management and sharing impact information with the team and association wide.
Teach several Community and Specialty Health programs each session as they align with interests and skill set.
Work with team leadership and designated association and/or branch staff to help refine and enhance program quality and further develop program materials to consistently deliver the highest quality content and best possible experience.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives as needs arise and opportunities are available.
Serve as a general resource to the association in the area of Community and Specialty Health, including managing and reporting data, creating reports and presentations and taking initiative with related administrative tasks.
Must be interested in working with people who may have, or be at risk for chronic disease including support for seniors, cancer survivors and others as identified. This often includes people who are new to exercise and requires patience and a willingness to go the extra mile to support those who need extra help. Should be generally engaging and enthusiastic, and enjoys connecting with people.
Must be willing to pursue additional training and certifications as needed for the position and applicable to the populations being served in this role. Must also be an eager learner willing to independently pursue information related to these populations and programs to educate themselves and be ready to ask questions and effectively contribute to the team.
Must be reasonably detail oriented and organized, able to capture, track and report data in a timely manner as well as maintain timely communication. Able to follow up and follow through on tasks, requests and essential job functions

High enrollment and participation in Community and Specialty Health programs as measured by effective pre-registration, attendance and completion
Enhanced member/participant experience, engagement and satisfaction
Quality relationships and high satisfaction from branch teams indicating high level of support and trust in our department to support them in running our programs
