SUMMARY
We are seeking a Protection Specialist to review, plan and execute all activities related to the functional areas of Mission Assurance (MA) and Physical Security for the Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory authority.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
The duties of this position are 50% performed in a climate controlled office environment and the remainder is conducting site inspections of Marine Corps Reserve Centers - both exterior and interior spaces. Regular travel and overnight stay will be required.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The mission of our client, the Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), is to augment and reinforce active Marine forces in time of war, national emergency or contingency operations, provide personnel and operational tempo relief for the active forces in peacetime, and provide service to the community. As citizen-Marines, the men and women of Marine Forces Reserve will be community beacons by living the Marine Corps' story of daily service to family, community, and nation.
