Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
• Load and unload material into machine. PT1 Strapper and PT1 Feeder duties and responsibilities as required. 40%
• Perform and validate proper machine component set up. 15%
• Applies troubleshooting skills for various machine components. Make minor non-mechanical adjustments, such as jams and machine calibration to ensure safety and maintenance procedures are followed. 15%
• Manage machine performance using a computer interface, requiring the use of a keyboard and mouse to point and click on work assignments and take corrective action when prompted by error message. Collect machine performance information and enters data into MS Excel spreadsheet. 10%
• Perform quality checks (QC) on finished products. Resolve machine productivity and product quality issues without assistance. Support and comply with internal and external audits. Analyzes, and reports critical objective data and information to production lead/supervisor, recommending improved machine use, quality control, and staff utilization. 10%
• Housekeeping, safety, and other duties as assigned. 10%
Qualifications
EDUCATION
• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE
• 1-3 years related experience. (Preferred)
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Work prioritization to meet production commitments and goals.
OTHER
• Ability to work overtime, beyond regular schedule, to complete work assignments as required.
