The VP, Data Acquisition for Global & Trade Partnerships is soley responsible for the global accountability for the data partnerships program supporting the expansion of Dun & Bradstreets trade data assets. This involves the following two areas of responsibility: Leadership of the global trade credit data program & development of strong partnerships capability & responsibility for leading and managing a diverse data acquisition global team.

Essential Key Responsibilities

  • Execute against a global trade & partnership strategy with a focus on expanding data coverage and reducing data staleness and growing the overall trade data program and assets.
  • Grow the breadth of client partners contributing data to the core trade program, building and closing a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Develop net new approaches to evolve the overall offerings D&B can make, developing innovative ways to better position the trade program for future growth.
  • Developing and enabling the success of the global team; engaging with leadership and senior commercial leads to drive the overall development of the program visibly, by demonstrating the value of the program to D&B's customers.
  • Enhance the trade program brand internally; using data and reporting to drive improvements and visibility.
  • Help define and lead the critical partnership expansion strategy, including quarterbacking negotiations with new and existing prospects and partners.
  • Manage the global operating model including close management of teams and continual improvement of processes.
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to develop new ways to engage and embed trade within the organization and D&B offerings; develop new assets and solutions to add enhanced value.
  • Own and drive thought leadership for the trade & partnerships program development globally. Identify opportunities/threats in the market and develop new ideas to allow us to enhance our competitive position. Develop deep relationships with internal stakeholders in sales, product and at the executive level.
  • Experiences

  • 12-15 years of relevant business experience; 8-10 years team leadership; Consultative, commercial (business development or sales/sales strategy) or data acquisition background preferred. Strong preference for prior partnerships or credit data experience.
  • Proven ability todrive and own end results - with a track record of executing against global plans. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead them 'end to end' with clear results.
  • Preferred experience leading global teams preferred (but not required) - demonstration of attributes to develop and lead a global multi-cultural team, in remote environments.
  • Proven ability to build and integrate global teams, developing a culture of high performance. Proven history of leading and growing teams - demonstrated by example.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload at a fast pace with strong attention to detail, high bar for quality and delivery, in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Analytical, disciplined, data-oriented decision maker and problem solver. Strong bias toward decisive action. Strong organizational skills and ability to show results with data.
