Bridge House is a small stabilization and assessment residential program for adults (ages 18-65) struggling with mental health illness and/or substance abuse issues. The Sous Chef is responsible for providing support to the Executive Chef and maintaining kitchen safety standards. The position requires the individual to assist with food preparation, basic meal preparation, and general utility work as well as meal service. This is an hourly position with compensation based on experience. The Sous Chef works Sunday through Thursday with variable hours.
Assist Executive Chef in creating fresh, healthy, and delicious meals for residents and staff
Interact daily with residents providing excellent customer service
Execute delicious meals in a timely manner in accordance with site agreement
Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of kitchen spaces and equipment
Perform dish washing and general utility work as required
Other duties as assigned
Executive Chef, Bridge House Residents
2 to 5 years food preparation experience
Food Safety Manager certification
Culinary degree preferred
Practical interview will be required after initial interview
Must be punctual and reliable
Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record
