Vitalant is hiring for a Sr. Manager, Clinical Laboratory in our Transfusion Services Division, to ensure adherence to regulatory agencies, conduct audits or procedures, records, equipment, document control and SOP management.

- Develop and lead teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support company growth and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, GTP, and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records, and quality documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and maintain a high standard of quality.
- Support technology transfers, facility expansions, and new product launches.
- Lead investigations, CAPAs, and root cause analyses related to laboratory deviations.
- Stay current on industry best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
- Must satisfy CLIA requirements for High Complexity Testing required.
- MT/MLS certification (i.e. ASCP) required. BB/SBB preferred.
- Seven years clinical laboratory experience required. To include:
- Three years three years managerial or supervisory experience required.
- Previous experience in immunohematology techniques, automated testing and computerization preferred.
