This exciting Senior Scientist opportunity is in the Battery & Electrochemical systems group in the Research & Technology organization of Medtronic Energy & Component Center (MECC). The scientist will have the opportunity to create and develop battery solutions with novel materials and designs for future medical devices. The Battery & Electrochemical Systems group at Medtronic has a long, storied history of making significant contributions to the world of lithium metal and lithium ion batteries, especially pertaining to medical devices. The scientist will find great opportunities to contribute to the development of next generation of medical devices by creating novel energy solutions that can transform lives.
A Day in the Life:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an industrial setting or an MS/PhD and at least two years of relevant experience.
