Revenue Cycle Analyst (Finance)
Children's Clinics is seeking a Per-Diem Revenue Cycle Analyst.
As a member of the Business Services team, the Per-Diem Revenue Cycle Analyst performs a variety of financial/reimbursement analysis and monitoring functions to assist in contract reimbursement management and other related financial activities. Prepares and post Explanation of Benefits, payments, and adjustments. Assists in entering and updating reimbursement/fee schedules into the practice management system. Ensures claims submissions and resubmissions are clean and timely. Conducts routine analysis of accounts receivable.
Associate's degree or equivalent in healthcare or managed care environment required. Two or more year's healthcare or managed care systems experience required. Knowledge of Payers (AHCCCS, Medicare, CRS, and commercial plans.) Experience with Accounts payable and posting helpful. Strong computer skills and using Microsoft Office Products. Experience working in a Practice Management System (NextGen preferred).

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing a variety of financial/reimbursement analysis and monitoring functions to assist in contract reimbursement management and other related financial activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensures claims submissions and resubmissions are clean and timely
Conducts routine analysis of accounts receivable in an effort to determine areas requiring immediate and ongoing focus.
Prepares and post Explanation of Benefits, payments and adjustments.
Assists in implementing and training staff on practice management and accounts receivable systems.
Assists in entering and updating reimbursement/fee schedules into the practice management system.
Performs other duties as required and assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to operate word processing equipment to store, edit, format, print and revise letters, memos, statistical tables, reports, forms, labels and other printed material.
Ability to post information to electronic records and maintains the electronic file and any manual files.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with patients, their families and all levels of personnel.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient data.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Associate's degree or equivalent in healthcare or managed care environment required
Experience:
Two or more years healthcare or managed care systems experience required

FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE
Employees are required to maintain a current Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Proof of a current fingerprint clearance card must be received within 90 days of employment.
