The Pharmacy Inventory Technician actively and accurately processes the receipt of salable goods and supplies into a perpetual inventory control system; monitors salable product locations to ensure availability for picking. Maintains flexibility to collaborate with other and accept fluid priorities.
Essential Duties:
Sorts, unpacks, counts, receives, checks, and stores materials accurately on a daily basis Products may include pharmaceuticals, controlled substances, and veterinary supplies
Recognizes, documents and reports damaged shipments to drivers upon receipt of product
Shares documentation, including pictures, with purchasing staff and vendors for follow up and resolution of damaged or missing products
Work closely with pharmacy catalog department regarding new products, sku changes, generic drug changes, and manufacturer backorders
Retains and reviews warehouse documents, packing lists, invoice copies and reports
Ensures the safety, cleanliness and security of the receiving warehouse work environment
Works with hand held scanning devices and inventory control software to receive, store, and move products
Replenishes locations with pharmaceutical and controlled substances multiple times daily to ensure product available for daily workflow
Places short dated products and/or damaged product in quarantine as appropriate
Participates in all company inventories; currently on a Saturday once per year
Responsible for maintaining controlled receivables and Adverse Reaction Program
Create and place missing UPC barcodes on individual items received
Utilizes hand trucks, forklift (only if certified), and other handling equipment
All other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Strong collaboration skills needed, interacting with all divisions of the company
Able to lift and shelve materials weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Intermediate computer skills needed; preferable Word, Excel, Shipping/Receiving Software
Ability to learn and navigate new software programs

Accurately excels at repetitive tasks for long periods of time
Capacity to start and stop projects seamlessly, despite frequent interruptions, while maintaining attention to detail
Must adhere to all company policies and procedures, be accountable, and be committed to continuous quality improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
1-3 years of related work experience preferred
Veterinary or Pharmaceutical experience a plus
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be currently licensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician or Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Oregon
Working Conditions:
Environment where dogs are present in office areas of building
Lifting and shelving items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Ability to work standing on pressurized concrete for long periods of time
