NDT Intern - Linn Benton Community College (Maintenance)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspects components and component parts for damage using non-destructive testing using special tooling and equipment. Under the guidance of NDT employees, this representative performs tests and checks as required to confirm component or aircraft serviceability.
• In accordance with CHI Maintenance Practices, this representative will document all work performed and inspection findings.
• Keeps area clean, orderly and FOD free. Follows standard work procedures for equipment maintenance and clean up. Participates in the total preventive maintenance program in the NDT shop. Ensures tools and equipment are well maintained, operable and accounted for.
• Conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values
• Other duties may be assigned.
• This role will be classified as Safety Sensitive and will be subject to Random Drug and Alcohol Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years' experience in non-destructive testing.
• Part of and in good standing with the Linn-Benton Non-Destructive Test and Evaluation Program. (Linn Benton Community College)
• Familiar with the products and processes associated with aircraft maintenance and manufacturing is preferred
• Ability to understand repair station procedures, quality management system procedures (maintenance and manufacturing) and associated federal aviation regulations
• Proactive problem solver
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
