HRIS Architect (Creative Design)

Job Description and Responsibilities

EVRAZ North America is seeking an Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Architect. This position is responsible for administering and supporting Workday and Kronos.  Responsibilities include: trouble shooting configuration and business process issues, report writing, and end user training. The successful candidate will have experience with implementing and maintaining security best practices and project work inclusive of Workday implementations. This role reports to the Senior Manager, HRIS and Compensation.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance business processes and deploy reconfigurations

  • Stay attuned with Workday software evolution, research and deploy enhancements where appropriate

  • Facilitates technical knowledge transfer and cross training within HRIS and broader HR team

  • Create management dashboards, scorecards, metrics and reports to transform data into workforce analytics

  • Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data and processes to ensure data integrity and consistency

  • Assists with, and in some cases leads,  upgrades and EIB creation

  • Research and recommend resolutions for security needs and configuration issues

  • Documents upgrade and production change testing plans, procedures and process flows

  • Partners with Total Rewards and HR teams to leverage systems (during year-end evaluations, open enrollment, merit increase reviews & bonus calculation)

  • Provides support to new and on-going HRIS projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is required

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Workday configuration and reporting required

  • Advanced Workday experience, including post-implementation experience and post-release management is required

  • Success Factors, Kronos and SQL experience preferred

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in HR is desired

  • Ability to determine priorities in a changing environment

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel proficiency to include using pivot tables and v-look ups)

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be a solid team collaborator willing to share, and receive, knowledge

  • Must be detailed and customer service oriented
