Mechanical Superintendent - Northwest District (Finance)
Position Overview
As a Mechanical Superintendent you will supervise the mechanical work on Water/Wastewater construction projects. In this role your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Perform daily inspections of work for Safety, Quality and Productivity. Assure proper planning and communication is happening for all operations that you oversee. Identify and solve problems. Establish budgetary targets for each mechanical operation and ensure that cost control measures are implemented. Ensure all quality control and quality assurance standards are fully implemented on every aspect of the mechanical work. Develop and manage mechanical schedules (e.g. Play of the Day, three week and 90 day), coordinate work with other crafts, departments, contractors and suppliers.
District Overview
Kiewit's Northwest District is headquartered in Vancouver, Washington.¯ We primarily perform heavy civil projects specializing in earth moving, transportation, roadways, water resources, and underground utilities. We are looking for hard working individuals with a passion for construction who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty!
