Certified Medical Assistant (Healthcare)

Fall River Health Services is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to assist the physicians with the clinic patients. This will include assisting in the preparation of patients for exams and preparing the examination room with professional standards of practice.

Responsibilities:
Perform clinical procedures to include:
Performing aseptic procedures
Taking vital signs
Preparing patients for examination
phlebotomy blood withdrawal and non-intravenous injections
Observing and reporting patients signs or symptoms
Administering basic first aid
Assist with patient examinations or treatmentsOperate office medical equipmentCollect routine laboratory specimensAdminister medications by unit dosagePerform basic laboratory proceduresPerform office procedures, including all general administrative duties
The average Salary for this position is $16.00 - $19.00 an hour, depending on years of experience.
